Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival and Transfer at the hotel/agrotouristic establishment
If time permits a short walking through the rich vegetation of the village
Day 2
Treis elies-Kukkos (16km, 5 hours)
You start the hiking at a tiny village called Treis Elies. You go north through the forest until the most known monastery of the island, Kykkos monastery. You will have the opportunity to visit the place as well and if you proceed further up on the top of the Throni mountain you will admire the astonishing views of every part of Cyprus. A vehicle will return you at Treis Elies for the night.
Day 3
Venetian bridges trail, (20 km, 6 h 30)
You will explore the flora of the village through a short trail inside the village and then you proceed towards the west to walk an old trade route with venetian bridges. The river flows all year round offering an interesting experience for the hikers. Overnight at Panayia village.
Day 4
Vouni Panayias (10 km, 3hours) and Moutti tou Stavrou - Xorteri (8km, 3 hours)
Through a circular trail you proceed in the forest with pine trees and vines. The views of the peninsula Akamas and of the high peaks of Troodos massif are boundless. You will pass from the old monastery of Chrysoroyiatisa, the oldest winery of the island, and you can visit both the church and the winery! After this trekking a vehicle will take you higher on the mountains to walk in the wild-pine forest of Pafos. Overnight in the forest in the available huts of the Department of forest.
Day 5
Departure
If time permits a short tour in Pafos forest and then a vehicle will transfer you to the airport for departure.
